INVITATION TO VISIT CAODAI HOLY SEE IN TAY NINH, VIET NAM

On September 19, 2010, a delegation of faculty members of the Department of World Religions at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, will visit Viet Nam on the invitation of the Cao Dai Overseas Missionary. The participants will visit the Cao Dai Holy See in Tay Ninh, then will take a tour of some provinces in the South such as Can Tho and Rach Gia. They will end up visiting the island of Phu Quoc, a beautiful province with pristine beaches, where His Excellency Ngo Minh Chieu, the first Cao Dai adept, had seen the Divine Eye.

At the Tay Ninh Holy See, they will attend the celebration ceremony commemorating our Mother Goddess, Duc Dieu Tri Kim Mau, which is the second biggest event of the Cao Dai religion. This ceremony is expected to draw hundred thousand of adepts from around the world, and will include exhibition, parade and special religious rites at the Mother Goddess temple.

 

The participants will have the honor to meet with the dignitaries of the Cao Dai Sacerdoce and will attend a seminar with Caodai youth, where they can get an opportunity to receive detailed explanations on the history, philosophy, doctrine and religious rites of the Cao Dai religion.
