FRENCH-GERMAN ARTE TV FILMING CREW VISIT TO CAO DAI TAY NINH HOLY SEE

At 7:30 am on March 24, 2019 (19/2 Ky Hoi), the ARTE TV Filming crew came to Tay Ninh Holy See to film an introduction to the Cao Dai religion for its program "Discovery, Culture and Tourism in the World ”.
 
It is known that TV station ARTE (short for Association Relative à la Télévision Européenne) is a TV station linking France and Germany, broadcast in France, Germany and Europe (Belgium, Austria, Luxembourg, Finland, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy,) in 6 different languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Polish and Italian.
 
About 55% of the program on ARTE Television is a documentary program, 25% of movies, 15% of current events and about 5% of music and art performances. About two-thirds of the broadcast programs on ARTE TV are programs that have never been broadcasted at any station in the world.
 
ARTE Television Director and Editor Caroline has known Caodaism for a long time, she contacted Reverend Thuong Canh Thanh, President, Cao Dai Overseas Missionary, to learn more about Caodaism, as well as to request arranging for a film crew to come to Cao Dai Tay Ninh Holy See to do a reportage.
 
After more than three months of contact, the film crew of ARTE Television, lead by Caroline and a cameraman, went to Cao Dai Tay Ninh Holy See to flm and record its program..
 
The Cao Dai Sacerdotal Council has created all necessary conditions to help this film crew. In addition to recording the outdoor scenes of the Holy See and the Great Temple, the Ho-Phap Residence, the Holy Mother Goddess temple, the film crew also interviewed Cardinal Thuong Tam Thanh, Chairman of the Sacerdotal Council, as well as Archbishop Ngọc Hồng Thanh, in charge of the Ministry of Interior of the Cao Dai religion, about the history, philosophy, rituals of Caodaism, as well as the history of the Great Temple construction.
 
According to Director and Editor Caroline, very few Europeans know about Caodaism, she believes that when today's filming program for the Cao Dai religion broadcasts, it will be a loud echo, helping people to know more about this indigenous and new religion in Vietnam.
 
The film crew mentioned that it is expected that the program on the Cao Dai religion in Tay Ninh will be aired on ARTE Television around May or June 2019.
