Giáo sư Janet Hoskins còn đồng tham gia biên soạn bốn quyển sách khác, như Transpacific Studies: Framing an Emerging Field (with Viet Thanh Nguyen, University of Hawaii 2014), Headhunting and the Social Imagination in Southeast Asia (Stanford 1996), A Space Between Oneself and Oneself: Anthropology as a Search for the Subject (Donizelli 1999) and Fragments from Forests and Libraries (Carolina Academic Press 2001). Giáo sư từng là Chủ tịch Hội Nhân học Tôn giáo từ năm 2011-13, và đã viết các tài liệu khảo tả dân tộc học (được công bố bởi Documentary Educational Resources, www.der.com), và là đạo diễn bộ phim về Cao Đài với chủ đề “The Left Eye of God: Caodaism Travels from Vietnam to California” tại Đại học Nam Cali, Los Angeles.
